Paul Langley
Paul started DJing in '85 playing Hip-Hop / Soul and mixed his way into the DMC mixing championships in '88. Joined a Hip-Hop group called Sylk Kutin 88 and played a mini UK tour with De La Soul / Sugar Bear. In late '88 he started buying House / Techno and moved into the new Acid house scene. Got into Techno in 93 when going to his first Lost party, this was a major turning point for him, musically.
He co-ran a weekly club night in Leicester Square, London in '94 called Iconelastic then started playing a weekly radio show on London's infamous Chillin' FM 102.9.. and also performed various guest mixes on www.netmix.com / www.dj-sets.com. He hooked up with DJ Rush in '97 who had heard a mix tape of his and wanted him to play alongside him at Berlin's Love Parade weekend and then the following week at Wuppertal's U-Club. It was at this point Paul bought his first pieces of studio equipment. He has since then also hooked up with Justin Berkovi and they've played some gigs together all over Europe. He takes all international DJ bookings through DJ Rush's agency Kne'Deep Berlin but handle the UK ones himself.
